Yu-na Kim Knows the Countdown to the Olympics Begins now.

Yu-na Kim ran with the Olympic flame in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on Sunday. The Olympic flame is now on it's 106-day cross country relay which will end in Vancouver, on Feb12, to mark the start of the Winter Olympics.

Yu-na Kim has just nine weeks until the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada. The Games kick off on 12,Feb. but the ladies' single competition begins on 23.Feb. Yu-na Kim has been resting up at her training camp in Toronto since winning the 2009 International Skating Union Grand Prix Final in Tokyo early this month,

but she plans to return to serious preparation for the Olympics from Monday onwards.

Right now she is focusing on complete run-throughs of her skating programs rather than practicing individual elements,

Yu-na plans to work on building up her physical strength. After setting a new women's record score in the Grand Prix event in October by hitting the 210-plus mark, her scores slipped to the 180-range in the fifth event in Lake Placid, New York, and the final in Tokyo. She also slowed down during the final, her stamina was running out.

"I'm not thinking about the Olympic gold medal right now, and I don't feel pressure to win it,"

"I've watched the Olympics since I was a kid, and I know that surprises can happen. I don't know what the outcome will be, but I'm ready to accept it."

Meanwhile Yuna is working on a new gala program to "Meditation from Thais" by Jules Massenet which she plans to debut at the Olympics, She has also decided to compete in the World Championship in Turin, Italy next March regardless of the Olympics results.

Well, since Yu-na is the raining world champion, The worlds best ice dance skaters will have

Yu-na as a target, Because the only way to get a Gold Medal is to be better than the

Japanese skaters will have the best chance to topple Yu-na with this impressive ladies line up they are a force to be reckoned with.

Asada and Ando are former world champions, and with Suzuki flying high this season the Japan Skating Federation has apparently already secured a rink in Vancouver for them to practice on.

Miki Ando Below, was the first skater to secure her spot on the Olympic team by finishing second in the Grand Prix Final, Ando retired last year due to injury.
